Prom Dress was limited to bridal shops, boutiques, and department stores. Design options had been often minimal, as well. Unless a young lady had her dress special-made, there was generally the risk of showing up at prom in wearing a dress identical towards the dress worn by one of her classmates. What a terrible thing that would be! Nothing could possibly be more humiliating to a teenage girl. Luckily times and concept have changed. A young lady has more choice for prom dresses today.
